《jingle bells》是一首圣诞歌曲，1857年，由词曲作家詹姆斯·罗德·皮尔彭特(James Lord Pierpont, 1822 - 1893)所作。Jingle Bells（铃儿响叮当）这首歌恐怕是最为人们熟悉的圣诞歌曲。可是这首歌最初并不是为 圣诞节 所写，而是为感恩节所作的。1857年，词曲作家詹姆斯·罗德·皮尔彭特(James Lord Pierpont, 1822 - 1893[1] )的父亲在波士顿一所学校任职。这首歌是吉米写给父亲的学生们，帮助学生们参加感恩节演出用的。歌中唱道：“雪橇奔驰在雪地上，我们欢笑一路上，铃声儿响彻四方，我们情绪高涨，笑得多开心，雪橇之歌今夜唱。叮叮当，叮叮当，铃儿响叮当……”明快的旋律、欢乐的场景、动人的童声合唱，使这首歌成为150年来最重要的圣诞节保留曲目，也是世界知名度最高的歌曲。
